Cloth Linens

Hello! Happy Friday. I spent the morning making jam and am now getting ready to lay Burl down for his nap.

I thought I would share a recent picture of my and Burl's lunch from a few days ago. Aside from toilet paper, we're virtually paper-free in our home. We use cloth napkins, cloth diapers, and cloth towels in our kitchen. Most were purchased second-hand. It wasn't a conscious decision we made, it just evolved that way. And it feels good, like it's just the right thing to do. Know what I mean?

Have a good weekend, my friends!

that sounds really nice. i have a hard time letting go of paper towels, but i only by one roll at a time so i force myself and my house to use it sparingly. i admire you!

the only thing we use (recycled) paper towels for is cleaning out the food trap in the dishwasher. And then we compost them. But we're cloth all the way for everything else but tp.

i do keep a roll of seventh gen. paper towels in the kitchen and the bathroom. but we use them sparingly.
once you get used to it-especially the napkins and the tea towels, it just become second nature.

really lovely photos.

Those are so pretty.
Yes we always use cloth napkins and towels. The only thing we ever use paper towels for is to clean up kitty messes.
Have a great weekend Amber!

We use rags instead of paper towels and all cloth napkins as well.
