I've been working my own fibers, wool mostly, and have been thoroughly engaged with the activity. It intrigues me how fiber that is clumpy, rough, dirty and crusty can turn into something so light, fluffy and soft. The entire process is time-consuming, but so soothing to me.

you just explained one of the main reasons I am a fiber artist. It is so amazing and really is soothing! have fun!
It is so satisfying isn't it? We receive bag fulls of wool from a neighbor each year and it is wonderful to go through the whole process - very comforting and rewarding.
