Farmer's Market

I love Farmer's Market Season!!
I don't have much ready to eat from my poor, wet, cold garden; our weather closer to the coast has been so rainy this season. I've had to resort to my local Farmers Markets, where farmers bring in their produce grown more inland, where it's been warmer. These pictures are from the Snohomish Market.

On our menu for the next few days:
Peanut butter sandwiches with raw honey
Lots of raw sugar snap peas, his favorite
Homemade pasta with pesto and fresh tomatoes
And LOTS of strawberries!

Farmers markets are the best... we are having a hard time finding honey around here as it was such a bad year last year - wet and cool.
Hopefully there will be lots more this year.

how fortunate to have a child that loves to eat fresh raw *anything* green!

was just out in my garden. has been in the 40s in the morning. tiny tiny green plants are fighting for a foothold in the dirt.

good to visit the oakmoss family blog today!
